On celebrating

Each meal that we make together in the Studio Love Kitchen still brings a renewed awareness of our food – not just HOW to make it, but also how it gets to the table. Who knew that you can make ramen noodles with three simple ingredients: flour, sesame oil & eggs (and a lot of muscle)!

This January, we hosted a blustery, wet and windy dinner party to celebrate our winter babies. One of the highlights of the night was discovering a Bob Dylan song that seemed so perfect for celebrating another year of growing younger. We used it as a blessing for the meal and year ahead. And, by chance, we were later graced to hear Joan Baez sing this song live at the Women’s March in San Francisco.

It’s hard not to feel so much gratitude and love for friends that trekked through the pouring rain to make this night possible. Stay tuned for recipes that we’ll post here soon!

FOREVER YOUNG | WRITTEN BY: BOB DYLAN

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young

May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
